Things aren’t going well for Pastel, we’re still fighting some bugs that makes our progress even more slower… like crashes, word wrapping… so I think it’s time to find a new one, I didn’t mean to drop pastel (but maybe) I’m looking for a game that uses Kiri Kiri, if you have any suggestions don’t be shy and tell us!

Well, hacking issues like crashes and wordwapping problems shouldn’t affect the translation process itself though >_> .
In any case, some the games you liked glancing through your list and without any project are:
Shiden (no idea how long it is)
Comyu (It’s exactly 111725 lines and 2958176 bytes.)
Ruitomo (Well, I wouldn’t really suggest attempting that though)
Eden -Saishuu Sensou Shoujo Densetsu- (I’d be personally the most pleased if you’d choose that. It’s my favorite doujin VN, those free trials guarantee quite a lot hours of play, quite easy, and I reckon if you write an email to Niratori-san, the sole creator, he’d be glad to letting you translate those trials (by the time of finish I’d imagine the full version being out too). And it definitely would be awesome to see it translated.
Or a few games from the Harvest December Series. They are one of the highest rated doujin games in japan, and I’d love to see them getting more exposure. They are on kirikiri too, and from what I’ve heard being awesome (especially the final game).

If you wanted to find out the numbers for EDEN -Saishuu Sensou Shoujo Densetsu-, then it’s 19224 lines and 777147 bytes (0.74115 MB). These are the numbers from the 3.00 trial as I couldn’t find 4.00 yet unfortunately
By the way one of our hackers made a scenario size counter script which you could also use to find out the various sizes and thus probably could help you deciding which one to choose.

Shame, Pastel seemed like my kind of game. More light-hearted and not as heavy drama with rape and other depressing stuff that seem to be favored in the English VN community.

The humour in Harvest December is very hard to transfer into another language though; and the humour often is integral to the story and thus *cannot* just be replaced with something different. I thought about translating it to German once but it’d be only possible with some serious rewriting. And from my knowledge of english, it should be the similarly difficult to accomplish. ^^
I’d be more constructive if I knew what games I have not read yet use Kirikiri haha…@_@

11 eyes looks cool, comyu looks good to, W.L.O looks funny, France Shoujo sounds good to but I don’t know if it uses the kirikiri engine.

TLWiki has a massive list of eroge’s+script sizes. So let’s see:
11eyes is 70454 lines and about 327680 bytes (Listed as 2.4906 mb on TLWiki)
And it is listed as Kirikiri, so that’s out of the way too.
